A Visit to California

And this sums up how we felt about our California visit--oh so happy.

Abigail enjoys a bath in mom's sink while also enjoying a freshly picked orange....could life get any better in a two year old's mind?

A trip to the zoo with Grandma (taking the picture) and Great-Grandma.
Grandma Donna meets Lucy for the first time and Lucy is all smiles.
Getting hugs from cousin Craig.
Abigail helps Grandpa pull out yet another win in Ticket to Ride.
Lucy hangs out.
So many cuddles with Grandma.
And cuddles with Uncle Chad.
Abigail helps Grandpa make freshly squeezed orange juice.

For the second year in a row, we made a trip to California in January. It was, of course, absolutely wonderful because there is no place like home. Tyler has conveniently had some type of work related projects in California the past two years in California and it has been so nice to travel to California after the Christmas rush of travelers and crowded airports (not to mention the significantly cheaper tickets). We did a lot of hanging out, visiting, and playing and showing off Lucy...and Abigail did a grand job of showing herself off as well. We are already hoping that another business trip will be scheduled for next January 2012.
