About a year ago we were overjoyed to learn we were pregnant. And then it started....I was sick, I was tired, I was more tired, and I was even more sick....and then even more tired. Something had to give. Ironing it was. Not all ironing, just the hardest part of ironing: Tyler's work shirts. They always took me forever to iron to perfection and even then, sometimes perfection could not be obtained. We decided to try having them laundered and pressed just once....just to help "catch up". It was wonderful. It was fabulous. It was awesome. Words can't quite describe how much the simple act of having someone else wash and iron my husband's shirts helped. And for just over a $1.00 per shirt it was well worth it. So worth it in fact.... I happily drop off Tyler's shirts each and every week and we have never looked back.

Glad to see you've found a better way of life! And P.S., I LOVE the pictures of Lucy in the last post.
Good move. Jeremy only wears scrubs now, but when he was wearing shirts we only did the dry cleaner. Totally worth it!
For reals! Shirts with collars are the worst! We've been sending James' shirts to the dry cleaners for the past three years. Maybe someday I'll be a good wife and iron them, but today is not that day. For now I'll just be a good wife by ensuring that he has nicely pressed shirts everyday. Worth every dime.
Some things are just worth paying for if they make your life simpler. There are so many things I have learned to give up or do differently since having children because it is just not worth it. :) Love this post!!
Best thing EVER!
Agreed. In fact, Gerry takes all of his clothes to the cleaners, as do I for work clothes. If it can't be air dried and hung up or thrown in the dryer I don't want to deal with it! It is good to get help with the things that will bring you some time, peace, and sanity :)
Love this post... and love that you are not looking back!
LOVE IT! Rach, that is one of the things that I'm dreading about Scott working again! Maybe I'll have to try out your method!
