So--this is a somewhat "modest" picture of the big event---but for several days now, Abigail has insisted and has successfully used the potty without prompting or coaxing from us. About two months ago I noticed she was becoming quite interested in this whole event---so off to Target we went to pick up her potty. She played with it here and there and had a few successful experiences here and there, but in the last few days, her interest has picked up. In the morning right after her morning snuggle and "milts" (milk), she announces, "pee-pee" and off she goes. By no means are we doing any serious potty training, but we are also not complaining at all. Mostly, I think Abigail is loving the attention and claps she gets after each successful experience. Either way, good times are a coming if this trend continues.

I can only wish:)Goooo Abigail!
Aah, the fun begins!! I think the most important thing I read when reading all those potty training books was to wait until the child was ready. It's so much easier that way!!! I think Nicholas was ready before I was ready for him to give up diapers (he was trained in 5 days), but he loves being in big boy undies now. Good luck, it's all in the journey. You're doing a great job!!!
So exciting! Maybe she can come work with Hayley - Hayley has zero interest in potty training and I'm definitely jealous of Abigail's motivation. Enjoy...!
That's pretty exciting for you! Jackson is interested and likes to sit on the potty, but the closest we've come to success was him peeing on the bathroom floor this morning...at Jack's boss's house. Yep, we have a ways to go.
Hooray! She is absolutely ADORABLE, Rach! Squeeze her for me and kiss those cheeks. It's all I can think of when I see that cute face :)
Your little Abigail is so so cute!! I can't wait to meet her and see you guys in a few weeks (I think you guys are coming...?) Love you and love your frequently updated blog!! yOu are a superstar!
