As It Goes

Back at the beginning of January we were hit with the flu. It began with Abigail. She went down for a nap and soon enough I heard cries of anguish and I came running to discover Abigail, bed, and crib bumper covered with the contents of what used to be breakfast. So, out went Abigail to be cleaned and cuddled and snuggled. Next, came the undoing of each of 40 bows or so that hold her bumper in place (well probably not 40, but close to it). Her sheets went into the laundry and her bumper went to the dry cleaners for them to work their cleaning magic.

As time went by we all recovered as did all of Abigail's clothes, sheets, and the crib bumper. But, not having the energy to re-tie all of those darling bows, her bumper has sat in the corner, just waiting. Days turned into weeks and those weeks even turned into over a month.

Yesterday Abigail and I made a project of putting her bumper into place, each bow tied one by one. Her room got cuter by the minute. Then Abigail was snuggled, cuddled, read to and prayed with and down she went to bed. Soon enough I heard the familiar cries of anguish and I went running, only to discover, Abigail, bed, and bumper covered in the contents of our Sunday dinner.

OH NO! I'm so sorry. It is really discouraging isn't it. But now you know, wait one week to make sure she's well then get right to using it so you get MORE time before the NEXT time! Good luck and we pray you ALL get well and stay well.
