A Visit to Yosemite

We spent the morning and afternoon in Yosemite National Park. We were in awe by the sights. The tourists were smitten with Abigail. She was perfect---literally---never cried once--including, but not limited to, the drive up to Yosemite, a walk around the fields and to the little chapel, the hour long lunch in the Ahwahnee, another long walk afterwards to Mirror Lake, and the drive back. The weather was perfect, Abigail was perfect, the time with my mom was perfect, it was a perfect "girls only" outing.

Rachael Abigail has such pretty hair. I love seeing what y'all are doing out there. I wondered if you'd do me a favor. When we stayed with oh . . . 2 years ago on our way down south, there was a quote hanging in the room. I assume it's Abby's room now. I think the quote was given to you from your grandma. Anyway . . . I loved it and have thought about it since. Would you mind emailing it to me? I'd soooo appreciate it. You're always an inspiration. Lots of love,

I love this post. It's, well, it's perfect. I just might come back to feel the same warm Yosemite feelings I'm feeling right now. And Joni's doing a pretty good job of making me a little homesick for the Golden State.
