October 17th weekend was full of wonderful family members who had gathered for Abigail's baby blessing. My parents came from California, Tyler's parents came from Utah, and my sister-in-law Ann (aka, super mom) with four kids in tow, came from North Carolina. Tyler's cousin, Michelle, also came for Sunday.

It was a splendid weekend full of family time.
Sunday was a special day as Abigail received her name and a blessing.
On the records of the church Abigail will be known as
Abigail Ella Rushton.
Tyler gave Abigail a sweet blessing and I am thankful for his worthiness as a father and as a priesthood holder in our church. Tyler's Father, my Father, our Bishop, and two close friends, Dane and Brian, were also able to stand in the circle as Tyler blessed Abigail.
Abigail was sweet and calm throughout the blessing--with the help of my dad holding in her pacifier. Mom had made Abigail a beautiful white blessing dress. My friend Angela made Abigail and I matching bracelets. We are so thankful for everyone who came and so thankful to know that families are forever.
It was a wonderful day, but even more than that, we were once again reminded of how special Abigail is in our lives, we are so grateful for our Heavenly Father blessing us with such a sweet daughter, and we were again reminded of the sweet and simple abundances our lives are filled with.

Rach!
How neat for your families to be able to be together. Also, I love the beautiful name. You have a great husband and a cute family! Hopefully I can see you this Thanksgiving. I will be home on Friday morning (the 28th), so lets talk!
Oh how fun and special to have family there for that day:) You look great and what a cute baby girl. I must say, Ellen is looking super stylish! I didn't see her when I was home in October, although I saw your dad, grandma, a couple cousins, and a few aunts and uncles at Stake Conference. My little Damon kept trying to put stickers on Matt's little girl's hand, I don't think she like it:) Congratulations on another fun milestone in your little one's life:)
What a special day! You look so happy, and we love seeing the pictures!
Congratulations Abigail! Blessing day is my favorite! Her dress is so beautiful! Your mom is amazing! And by the way...you look fabulous!
So happy. How fun that Ann & crew could come!
You all look so great. I can't wait to meet little Abigail.
Have I mentioned that your baby has the most beautiful name? Really.
She is so precious and you guys look so great! Those bracelets were so special! We're sorry that we missed you in GA last weekend- hopefully next time!
THOSE are all so adorable. Aren't you grateful for family that care enough to show it? Seriously cute pictures. She is growing...and genuinely cute!!!
