A Baby Girl Is On Her Way-

After much pushing, proding, and moving the monitor all around my belly the nurse announced that there was no way we were going to find out what the gender was--and sent me out to do jumping jacks. One hour and many jumping jacks later, our little one had moved enough so we could see, or rather, the nurse could see, that our little baby is going to be a girl. All is healthy and well--from heart to tiny fingers and toes. Pictured below is her cute little profile.

Yippee! We're so excited for you two. We have our "big" ultrasound on Friday to find out what we're having; I'll try to get some jumping jacks in ahead of time.:) Keep us updated on how everything is going. xoxoxo

Not to clog up your blog, but we just found out today that our little girl will be coming two weeks after yours. It really is the "year of the girl!"

Congrats, Rach. So fun! I'm glad you were able to find out. That was my big fear... that I would go in and leave without the nurse being able to tell. A girl will be so much fun!

Congratulations, Rachael... people buy you much more stuff when you're having a little girl, and it's a lot of fun to dress them. Until they get food, pen, dirt, milk, barf, poop, strawberry jam, or paint on themselves. Then you get to dress them again!

Rachel!!! Small world. I just read my friend April's blog about going to a basketball game with their friends Tyler and Rachel (and it had a link...so I clicked on it and found you!) How funny. April and I were in the same sorority at the U of U. Congrats on the baby girl. I'm excited to see updates.
